Chongqing Chongwen Road Community Public Space
The project is located at Gaoshan Liushui Plaza on Chongwen Road in Nanshan, Chongqing. To the north is the Gaoshan Liushui Zone A residential area, and to the south is Chongqing Second Foreign Language School. Therefore, a large number of local residents and students pass through this area every day.

Therefore, in the urban furniture design, we placed multiple sets of leisure seating with different designs in the corners of the square, satisfying the leisure needs of adults while also designing low, round stools specifically for children.

The design features curved lines and varying levels, a color scheme of white textures and wood accents, and is complemented by striking yellow metal frames and yellow playground equipment, creating a harmonious overall look.

The small, round stool features a rounded design and impact-resistant material, minimizing the risk of bumps and bruises for children. The high-saturation yellow color enhances the playful feel and makes the stool easily recognizable in the space.

Dongjiaotou Community, Shenzhen – Entrance and Exit Micro-Renovation
Located at the intersection of Shekou New Street and Houhai Avenue, this project serves as both a municipal public green space and a community entrance/exit, a space that community residents pass through every day.

The design transforms the site’s originally simple and enclosed corner space by dividing it into areas for traffic and lingering, creating a public open space for neighbors to chat, sit and wait, children to play briefly, and passersby to rest.

By utilizing the boundary of the community wall, a folded corridor is created to minimize land use. This corridor connects green spaces, resting areas, card-access entrances, and community bulletin boards, forming a continuous linear space that flows from the undulating ground to the framed structure.

Behind the wall stands a mature rubber fig tree. The large tree provides shelter and shade to the site, and its stylized trunk and fallen leaves are framed within the wall, creating a contrast with the real tree behind it.
