Open and Shared: Transforming Aging Communities into Continuous Green Public Spaces
Starting from a pocket park strategy, the project promotes the development of an 1,800-meter-long “15-minute walking loop.”
A rectangular green space is positioned at the center of the site to reduce activity noise impact on surrounding residents. At the western entrance, preserved cedar trees are combined with newly planted ginkgo trees and integrated seating, extending the relaxing atmosphere of the garden.
At the highest point of the site, trees divide the area into smaller-scale social spaces, while riverside viewing benches are placed at the end of the deck to encourage spontaneous leisure activities.

Combining Functionality and Aesthetics to Create High-Quality Community Public Spaces
The landscape and facility design emphasize both practicality and visual harmony. Newly planted and restored greenery is integrated with pergola structures, enhancing visual appeal while improving comfort for public use.
At the same time, infrastructure such as lighting systems, benches, and waste bins has been upgraded, while information signage is carefully arranged to ensure accessibility and convenience.

“Returning the Neighborhood to Residents”: Improving Traffic and Natural Environments While Establishing a New Community Public Space Model
The overall master plan optimizes neighborhood entrances, introduces pocket parks, renovates the central park, and adds sports facilities along with urban furniture such as seating, waste bins, and bollards. Together, these interventions create an inclusive and diverse public space system that serves the entire community.

A Winding Illuminated Pergola Connecting Nature and Community
A winding elevated illuminated pergola, inspired by the form of a flowing river, serves both as a landmark feature and a functional nighttime circulation element.
The project includes children’s play areas, fitness spaces, and dedicated pet zones, while custom benches accommodate rest and interaction for users of all ages.
Centered around user experience and rooted in local identity, the overall design combines ecological restoration, cultural integration, and functional enhancement—transforming the park into a core public space that reconnects the community and improves urban quality of life.
