This project achieves a seamless integration between the open public space and the central building through a systematic urban furniture design strategy. The core product—metal benches—is constructed entirely from metal, featuring bright orange accent panels as a visual highlight. This bold color application activates the space, enhances visual identity, and increases product recognizability.
Complemented by bollards, bicycle racks, and signage in matching materials, the project forms a comprehensive functional system encompassing “resting – circulation control – parking – wayfinding.” Each element is strategically positioned at key nodes such as building entrances and pedestrian routes.
The design not only meets essential needs—including seating for relaxation, organized bicycle parking, and clear spatial guidance—but also establishes a cohesive visual language that creates a well-ordered open space balancing practicality and aesthetic appeal.
