The Kaixuan South Road Underpass Urban Furniture Renewal Project responds to both the spatial characteristics of the under-bridge environment and the activity needs of the surrounding community. Through the introduction of basketball courts, colorful paving systems, benches, steel-and-wood seating structures, signage, planters, and enclosure elements, the original underpass space has been comprehensively upgraded.
The design uses a vibrant color language to connect sports, leisure, and landscape areas, enhancing the site’s visual identity, interactivity, and overall public experience. By integrating recreation, social interaction, and environmental improvement, the project transforms the underpass into a multifunctional community public space that supports fitness, relaxation, and urban landscape enhancement.
