The Aomen Road Gallery Bridge project reconnects pedestrian spaces on both sides of the urban road through an elevated gallery bridge, continuous walkways and under-bridge public spaces. It improves citizens’ daily walking, fitness, leisure and staying experience.
The most representative urban furniture product in the project is the landscape gallery bridge. Combined with the bridge structure, semi-transparent skin and nighttime lighting, it forms a landmark slow-traffic passage while providing pedestrians with shade, staying and viewing spaces. The under-bridge area is equipped with combined seating, number seats, planters and landscape lighting, transforming the originally single-function under-bridge space into a public node for resting, communication and activities.
In terms of material application, the project mainly uses steel structures and metal components. The gallery bridge integrates structure, skin and lighting to enhance spatial transparency and nighttime recognition. The under-bridge seating, planters and lighting facilities work together with the red paving to organize the resting space, balancing weather resistance, structural stability and the visual vitality of the urban public space.
