Through campus furniture products such as tree-table seating, stepped classroom seating, planter seating, curved benches, activity-area furniture and sports facilities, the project transforms the courtyards, terraces, stilt-floor areas and rooftop spaces between teaching buildings into campus public spaces for learning, resting, communication and activities.
The project includes various outdoor furniture and activity nodes suitable for students. Tree-table seating is arranged around trees, providing spaces for reading, homework and communication. The stepped classroom combines circulation steps with seating areas, making it suitable for daily stays, outdoor reading and class presentations. Planter seating and curved benches are integrated with green island spaces, creating resting nodes closer to nature. Under the stilt-floor areas, long jump tracks, climbing walls and parkour equipment are also arranged, allowing students to enjoy outdoor sports under different weather conditions.
In terms of material application, the project responds to the high-frequency use and safety maintenance needs of campus spaces. In the second-floor tree-table garden, the curved benches use solid bamboo wood panels with stainless steel edging to improve detail quality. Activity areas use anti-slip flooring, rounded facilities and low-maintenance materials, balancing safety, durability and long-term campus use. The project ultimately transforms the traditional corner spaces of the campus into outdoor public spaces integrating learning, resting, sports, nature observation and artistic activities.
